The Hatteras 54 Motor Yacht features a bilevel layout. The lower level has a large galley-down and dinette just forward of amidships. A guest stateroom in the bow has a head and a stall shower. A companionway leads aft between the engine rooms to another guest stateroom, to starboard, with a head and stall shower across on the port side. The engine rooms are full height with space to walk around the power plants. The master stateroom is aft and it features a large berth, ample storage, a large double hanging locker and a fully equipped head.
Carpeted, lighted steps connect the galley and the upper-level saloon and pilothouse. The helm station is to starboard with large sliding doors on both sides. The saloon features large windows and a sliding door aft. Outside, the covered aft deck is roomy, and the walk-around side decks with their waist-high, teak-capped rails make for easy line handling. Access to the fly-bridge is via a ladder from the pilothouse.
This ergonomic, gourmet galley and dinette offer a most hospitable invitation for extended cruising. With laminate floor, almond colored cabinets, great overhead lighting and large windows, including a 240V range, full size refrigerator, dish washer, and microwave oven the Hatters 54MY covers all the bases to feed your family or guests in style.
With two helm stations (lower and fly bridge) the Hatters 54 Motor yacht gives you the opportunity to take command of your yacht in two environments. With a comfortable riding seat with a footrest accommodates two people. The instrumentation, including standard Hynautic clutch and throttle controls. Ample space for chart work and overhead electronics console, you are in command of the Hatteras 54 MY and you can feel it.
The fly bridge is simply irresistible. With U-shaped seating, the fly bridge is molded with the hard top in a one-part design. Ample canvas connected to the fiberglass radar arch protect you and your guests from the sun and wind. The aft area of the top deck houses a 120V electric davit to raise and lower the 13' Boston Whaler dinghy.
The master stateroom features a walk around queen size bed with twin night stands, a chest on chest storage area and a cedar-lined closet create the perfect "home away from home" feel.
The master head with shower stall is a fresh as the rest of the Hatteras 54MY. Stylish mirrors, contemporary laminates and air conditioning complete this head with impeccable character and functionality.
This stateroom sports twin bunks, a full sized cedar lined hanging locker and more storage than your guests will need. Opposite this stateroom is a head with shower.
The bow stateroom comes with twin upper and lower berths, dresser, hanging locker provide cozy-yet-comforting privacy for family or guests. And accompanying head is to starboard with private shower.
How big is the Hatters 54MY salon? To Hatteras, there was only one answer - as big as it should be for the way a Hatteras 54MY owner is going to live. The salon, deck house, and aft deck combine for 357 square feet of living area. Wow.
Large tinted windows offer excellent views. Inside the salon it is fresh and light with Hatteras quality throughout - natural wood accents, molded and rounded corners on the bulkheads, and leather textured and simulated hard wood durable high pressure laminate. With a pull out couch, entertainment center with surround sound, TV, and DVD player and full wet bar with an ice maker, the salon is you inside entertainment place. House in twin/neighboring immaculate engine rooms are Detroit 8V-921A work horse engines. These engines were rebuild in 2004 and have roughly 350 hours on them since the rebuild (3550 total), Additional, you will find loused in each engine room: water heater(starboard), air compressor(starboard), fuel filters, Naiad stabilizers(port), hydraulic engine control system, fire suppression system, battery on/off control. There are two (2) spare propellers.
Queen of Hearts was repainted with Awlgrip on 2003 and touched up as need. She is beautiful and has been well loved.
