Ancestrial Salute a Ta Chiao CT-56, Robert Perry design

She is an extended range ocean vessel.  Ancestrial Salute has a modified full keel with a skeg mounted rudder under a ketch rig.  She is a powerful yacht both in appearance and ability.  Additionally, her full keel results in a draft 6'5".  Amazing for a 56' yacht and adds incredible possibilities for your future destinations.  Flexible sail plan and exceptionally comfortable sheltered cockpit with separate cockpit area for the helm. She has a gentle feel, whether at sea or at anchor. In addition to all her other great qualities, this is the ONLY Ta Chiao CT 56 originally built with FIBERGLASS DECKS!  Bottom just painted with Pettit Trinidad Plus (June 2017).

Accomodations

Interior Layout

Sleeps five in private cabins and one more in semi-private comfort in a spacious layout with unique teak joinery and graceful, classic style combined with all the modern comforts. Farthest forward is the crew quarters/storage area with one bunk berth and egress through a foredeck hatch as well as access to the forward head and stateroom.

Forward Stateroom

The forward stateroom is the full width of the boat, with a semi-enclosed double berth to port and across from it a single berth to starboard (both with privacy curtains). This layout allows a couple to enjoy exceptional space and can also flex to accommodate a family or three guests. Screened opening hatches above each bunk and generous storage. The forward head serves this stateroom with a shower, head and marble countertop.

Aft Stateroom

The aft stateroom is surprisingly large and impressive, with four opening portals across the transom above the centerline queen berth. Both staterooms feature memory foam mattresses. Curved lounge seats too port and starboard provide ample seating. This stateroom has an ensuite private head with bathtub/shower and marble countertop. There is also a large hanging locker, mirrored vanity, and 15” flat panel TV.

Salon

The salon features a surprisingly large curved settee to port, as well as generous storage, built-in bookcase and bar (with icemaker) with access to the galley. The nav station and two lounge chairs are to starboard, facing forward. There are two opening portals in the main salon, plus generous picture windows. A 32” flat screen TV, sound bar, and satellite radio (Sirius XM) with MP3 connections make the salon a perfect entertainment center at the dock or underway. Cabin soles throughout are teak and holly.

Galley and Dinette

The galley is aft of the salon to port, with a compact, professional layout, and sufficient storage to support staffed service as well as self-serve food preparation.
The U-shaped dinette to starboard includes a hinged bench seat for larger parties that seats 6 to 8 comfortably. In addition, the dinette table top drops down to form a generous bunk with privacy curtains. Good storage under the dinette.
