As you take a look at the beautiful modern Carver 396, you will get a feeling that she will deliver. Step on the welcoming boarding and swim platform and you'll know your safety and pleasure anticipation is answered.  Up to and enter the aft deck and you go AAhhh and feel immediately at home.

The aft deck offers you an entertainment area, cocktail and dining space and seating. You may take your choice from there : 1) Up to the bridge and helm or 2) The beautiful interior, salon, galley, (2)staterooms and (2) heads.

Up to the bridge and helm is breathtaking and peace of mind. Your command center that satisfies your navigation and view expectations while offering another entertainment space when at anchor or berth.

Down to the beautiful interior. Entering the salon there are two opposing spacious comfortable leather seating areas. The gourmet galley is to port. To starboard is a dinette with seating.

There are TWO STATEROOMS : The forward stateroom beckons you for a restful time with spacious berth that is athwarthships. The aft stateroom is larger and more comfortable than most vessels of this length or larger.  

There are TWO HEADS: Access from salon and ensuite in forward stateroom. Access is private in the aft stateroom.

Carver Yacht History

Carver Yachts was founded in 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when Charles "Charlie" Carter and George Verhagen started building mahogany runabouts in a factory on South 27th. The popular myth that they started building boats in the backyard garage is not true. They were both long time marine industry people that decided to build boats rather than sell them through Carter's two marine dealerships in Green Bay and the Fox Valley.[2] The pair later sold the business in 1963 to business partners Walter "Wally" Markham and Glen Nordin, both of whom had worked for Cruisers Yachts of Oconto, Wisconsin. Under their leadership the then-called Carver Boat Corporation transitioned to fiberglass based construction and expanded from a regional boat builder to an international company with worldwide sales.[3][4]

In 2004 Carver started the Marquis Yachts line, which began with the 59 and 65 Motor Yachts. Over 100 of the 65 Motor Yachts were built from 2005 to 2008 in Pulaski, Wisconsin.

Carver was acquired by Marquis-Larson boat group.

The updated raised walk-deck design has allowed design changes that give the Carver 396 Motor Yacht a wider cabin - much roomier than one would expect. Adding to its appeal, the cabin living space has been combined into a spacious, open "great room" with plenty of salon seating and space for all sorts of extra amenities, like an end table, TV, and VCR. Two luxurious staterooms and two head compartments provide welcome privacy with the master head compartment providing separate head and shower compartments. Superb entertainment possibilities can be found everywhere, from the spacious cabin to the roomy bridge with its wet bar and L-shaped lounge - and the aft deck is no exception. Its integral bridge stairway and side deck wing doors provide convenient access, and the integral boarding platform with aft deck stairway and retractable boarding ladder make boarding easier.
