Description
The Krogen Express 49 is one of the most sought after semi-displacement designs out there. Her design heritage is reminiscent of the commuter yachts of the twenties and thirties but embodies the engineering and build quality of the 21st century.
Slainte has a classy khaki hull and sparkling wooden transome that has just been refinished. She has brand new Furuno instrumentation with three touchscreen displays at both helms, bow and stern thrusters, re-designed guest cabin that allows two comfortable bunks while still maintaining the desk and hanging locker, new spur cutters, new barrier coat and bottom paint, new center- console dinghy, Starlink and Vesper VHF.
All this in addition to her already impressive list of reverse cycle heat and air, Northern Lights genset, full size appliances and the list goes on.
She is the perfect combination of beauty, grace, economy and the ability to sip fuel at trawler speeds or step out and "pick up her skirts" when needed.
Sure you can spend more but, why? What's not to love?

Michele started her career in January 1987 by developing the brokerage division of Gratitude Yachting Center. This followed a career of teaching special-needs children for more than 18 years. Michele’s summers during her teaching days were spent working with a charter company and sailing school located on the Chesapeake, and her years there gave her the opportunity to sail many different designs. She also handled the provisioning for these charters and owned the Galley Elf, a catering business. The Galley Elf eventually introduced her to the gang at Gratitude when she catered their Island Packet Rendezvous and the rest was history.
