04Description
Bluewater-Equipped • 2-Cabin Owner's Version • ICW Friendly • Freshwater History • Built in the USA • Ready for Extended Cruising
The 2013 Beneteau Oceanis 45 "Inconceivable" is an exceptionally well-equipped cruising yacht that has been thoughtfully outfitted for serious passagemaking while remaining comfortable and easy to sail as a couple. Her desirable 2-cabin/2-head Owner's Version offers a spacious interior with abundant storage, a dedicated workshop, and a bright, inviting salon.
Originally kept primarily on Lake Champlain, she has seen only limited offshore cruising, including voyages to Cape Cod and the British Virgin Islands before returning to the Northeast in 2022. She has never been chartered, reflecting the pride of ownership and careful maintenance throughout her life.
Designed for sailors who want to cruise independently, "Inconceivable" features an impressive list of upgrades, including a 1,260-watt solar array, 1,050 Ah AGM battery bank, Spectra watermaker, Espar diesel heat, air conditioning, electric outboard motor, dinghy, and a partial cockpit enclosure. She is equally comfortable spending months at anchor as she is making coastal or offshore passages.
The twin-wheel cockpit offers excellent visibility underway and features a large folding cockpit table with refrigeration, teak seating, a full enclosure, hydraulic swim platform, dinghy davits, and easy access to the spacious transom. Below deck, Beneteau's signature light-filled interior offers warm wood joinery, generous headroom, a well-equipped galley, an expansive owner's stateroom, a guest cabin, and a dedicated workshop, a feature rarely found on yachts in this class.
Recent maintenance has included saildrive replacement (5/2025), engine service (6/2026), wash and wax (7/2026), bottom paint (6/2025), sail servicing (7/2026), running rigging (5/2026), jib furler service (8/2025), and zinc replacement (as needed), allowing her next owners to step aboard and begin cruising immediately.
Interior
Inconceivable has the highly sought-after 2-cabin owner's version layout. Designed with extended cruising in mind, it provides exceptional comfort, abundant storage, and practical living spaces for a cruising couple while offering comfortable accommodations for guests.
The forward owner's stateroom features a centerline island queen berth, generous hanging lockers and cabinetry, abundant natural light, excellent ventilation, and a private ensuite head with a separate shower stall.
Aft to starboard is a large guest stateroom with a comfortable double berth, hanging locker, numerous storage lockers, opening ports, overhead hatch with screen and shade, and direct access to the aft head. The guest head can also be accessed from the salon and features a separate shower stall, vanity, storage cabinets, and a holding tank, making it ideal for guests or day use.
The bright, open salon is filled with natural light from panoramic hull windows and numerous opening hatches. A large convertible table provides comfortable seating and can be converted into an additional berth when needed.
The port-side L-shaped galley is exceptionally well-equipped. Features include solid synthetic countertops, a double stainless-steel sink, a gimbaled propane stove and oven, top-loading icebox, large front-opening refrigerator, generous cabinetry, dedicated pantry storage, and excellent ventilation through an opening portlight. A separate freezer, seawater foot pump, and onboard washing machine further enhance long-range cruising comfort.
One of the standout features of the Owner's Version is the dedicated aft utility and workshop located behind the galley. This versatile space offers extensive shelving, drawers, lockers, and easy access to the cockpit lazarette, making it an ideal location for tools, spare parts, cruising gear, provisions, and additional storage.
