04Description
Little Wing is a 2011 Valiant 42, designed by Robert Perry and built in Texas by Valiant Yachts. As hull #186, she is the final Valiant 42 produced.
Commissioned by her original owners, Little Wing was extensively customized during construction, with approximately $164,000 in factory options. She was designed and equipped for offshore passagemaking and extended cruising, with an emphasis on safety, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
Her traditional center-entry layout features two private staterooms, a cherry interior, a well-equipped offshore galley, dedicated navigation station, and an enclosed head with a separate shower.
Equipment includes Navtec rod rigging, a cutter rig, Harken deck hardware, an electric winch, a factory hard dodger, a full cockpit enclosure, Furuno navigation electronics, AIS, a Spectra watermaker, diesel heating, and upgraded electrical systems.
Notable updates include Furuno electronics (2022), bronze seacocks (2023), a high-output Balmar alternator (2023), and Lifeline AGM house batteries (2024).
Having cruised extensively along the East Coast and throughout the Bahamas, Little Wing is a well-equipped, proven offshore cruising yacht.
