TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY to own ESSENTIALLY A NEW YACHT !

Designed by Rob Humphreys, the Southerly 49 is a powerful, sleek and stunning yacht with true blue water cruising capabilities, yet easily handled by 2 people. She is equally comfortable sailing around the world or on a quiet weekend cruise.

Winner of SAIL Magazines 2012 Boat of the Year Award for Best Systems.

As with all Southerly's, the highly developed Swing Keel system gives the freedom and versatility to sail in almost any waters. With the keel lowered, the S49's variable draft of 10' 3" makes for fast, serious blue water cruising. At "the touch of a button" the keel can be raised to give a shallow draft of just 2' 10" perfect for sailing in shallow waters, exploring those quiet coves that others cannot reach or keeping her at your shallow water dock.

The Southerly 49 offers the latest thinking in cruising yacht design. The hull is characterized by a long waterline, fine entry and beam carried aft to ensure the highest degree of performance, stability and safety. The semi-balanced twin rudders give instantly responsive steering and precise directional stability.

"Sea Smile" is in outstanding condition and is fully equipped for passagemaking. Some of her many features and equipment includes the following:

  • Raised salon and nav
