VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

The IP485 has 3 staterooms and 2 heads. Bulkheads and trim are finished in satin varnished light teak. The cabin soles are of teak and holly in the accommodations areas but are of non-skid GRP in areas of high traffic such as the companionway and galley. Overhead lights and numerous reading lamps with individual dimmers are found throughout. There are plenty of handholds where needed, reflecting the offshore intent of the design.

Salon

Easy companionway steps lead you down into the spacious main salon. Large salon windows forward and on both sides give you panoramic views and ever so much light. No worries – these are CE Category A – Ocean rated safety windows.

On either side are full-length settees. The stbd settee extends to make a double berth, and both settees can be used as sea berths. The large main dining table stows against the forward bulkhead, opening up the area for socializing. Thee are 2 other tables - 1 is a smaller pedestal table that easily stows away and the other is a custom IP pedestal dining table.  

Adjacent to the companionway on the port side is the deluxe navigation center. There is also a wet locker within arm’s reach. For more details see "Nav & Electronics" section below.

To starboard of the companionway is a really great galley. For more details see the "Galley" section below.

Master Stateroom (aft)

The very comfortable owner’s stateroom aft has a large island berth and a private ensuite head with a separate shower stall. Six opening ports surround the stateroom and a large overhead hatch provide lots of light and ventilation. The foot end of the berth has a hinged lid and easily lifts up to a large storage space for those big bulky items. Opposite the berth is a comfortable seat and storage lockers. There is a large cedar-lined hanging locker outboard which provides abundant clothes storage. Access to the large lazarette is also available through the aft bulkhead.

Guest Stateroom (forward)

The guest stateroom is forward. It too has a large centreline berth and plentiful storage. Same as the master, the foot end of the berth lifts up to a large storage space. Opening ports and an overhead hatch allows abundant natural light and ventilation. There is a privacy door to the guest head. There is a cedar-lined hanging locker and bureaus for additional storage.

Third Cabin/Office

Located on the starboard side is a third cabin is configured as an office/berth combo with cushions, a ladder and a desk filler. The desktop can also be converted into a double berth. In addition there is a washer/dryer combo in the locker. 

Two Heads

Both luxurious heads feature vanities with Corian countertops, separate shower stalls with folding acrylic doors and VacuFlush heads.

GALLEY

The spacious inline galley is conveniently located aft of the salon on the starboard side both outboard and inboard. There is a tremendous amount of counter space - approx. 20 square feet. Opening ports on either side keep it light and airy. There are 2 top-loading refrigerator and freezer compartments, with digitally controlled cooling units, which provide generous cold storage. Either compartment may be used for refrigerated or frozen storage by the setting of the controls. A pull-out refrigerated drawer below is also included for quick access to popular beverages and food. Also featured in the galley are built-in dish racks, cutlery drawers, deep double sinks, a slide out trash bin and abundant cabinet and locker storage.
