Walkthrough/Accomodations
Begining at the bow is the very large and beamy Vee Berth that is light and airy with a large opening hatch and 2 opening ports. It has an elegant look with teak ceiling strips complimenting all of the wonderful joinery. At either side of the entrance are large hanging lockers. Under the berth, there are 6 bureau type drawers and on either side of the berth there is a shelf and a cabinet. Lots of storage for your guests.
Aft on starboard is the forward Head with a private entrance to the Vee Berth and another to the saloon. The tiled sole adds more elegance to the 47 as does the seperate shower stall with smoked glass & teak bifold door. She has a Vacuflush head, corian counters with high teak fids and teak mirror. There is plenty of storage both over and under the counter. The Head is also well ventillated with 2 opening ports and an opening hatch.
Across on port is the "U" shaped Galley also with corian counters & teak fids. Food preparation and cleanup are easy with lots of work space and storage. There is a large, deep, double sink against the hull side. A 3 Burner, Pricess Stove and Oven is built into the forward counter with a Broan Exhaust Fan & Stove light above and a Microwave above that. Under the aft counter are a huge, seperate, front loading Refrigerator and Freezer. The galley stays cool with 2 opening ports and an opening hatch.
Moving aft are 2 steps up into the Main Saloon. On either side of steps are the 110 Volt Panel on port and the 12 volt on starboard. The Inside Helm is up and on starboard with full engine and generator controls and navigation equipment within easy reach. The helm bench seat is large and folds down when not in use as a serving table. Across on port is a forward facing desk with drawer and cabinets. Side Doors are on each side behind desk and helm. Behind the helm is a "U" shaped dining area The dining table has 2 drop down leafs that with the 2 teak chairs can comfortably serve 6 people for a full dinner. Across on port is a row of beautiful teak cabinetry that provides great storage and serves as the ship's entertainment center. There are large sliding glass windows on either side of the saloon.
On the port aft side of the saloon are 4 steps up and through the companionway door to the mid deck and just inside that are the 3 steps down into the large and comfortable Owner's Stateroom with its private Aft Head on port. Like the forward head, the sole is tiled, there is a seperate shower with a teak & glass bifold door, Vacuflush commode, corian counter with lots of storage both above and below and a drop in sink. The aft head also has an opening hatch and port. Behind the head is a good sized desk with drawers and cabinets perfectly suited for professional or personal use and roomy enough for your tech gear. Inside of the cabin's aft bulkhead is the companionway up to the aft deck. This owner's suite has a large centerline queen sized berth against the aft bulkhead. Across the cabin's forward bulkhead is a large 2 drawer bureau and a huge hanging locker and on the port hull side are 3 more large drawers and cabinets. The aft cabin joinery is also complimented by teak ceiling strips. There is room for extended cruising.
The lower Aft Deck has high, safe sides with a solid transom door that leads to a large Swim Platform.
The Mid Deck is accessed from the port, side deck or the saloon and has cradles for dinghy storage. Stainless Handrails provide safe passage to the enclosed Flybridge with spray shield. There are comfortable Helm and Mate swivel chairs and an "L" shaped table for entertaining. The mast and dinghy retrieval system is at the aft end of the bridge deck.
Havana is well laid out for elegant entertaining or comfortable living and cruising.
