WALKTHRU

The forward stateroom features a large Pullman berth, upholstered dressing seat, cedar-lined hanging locker, bureau cabinet, berth shelves, and plenty of storage under the berth. Next aft to starboard is the large head with a new Raritan SeaEra electric toilet with Smart Control, wraparound counter, numerous cabinets, shower with contoured seat and curtain, and drains which function regardless of angle of heel. Private access is from the forward master cabin or, for the crew, from the salon. Appointments such as a mirror, towel loops, convenient lights, an opening port and overhead hatch complete the ambiance of the head. 

The main salon is suited for socializing, dining, or off-watch relaxation. Comfort is provided by the MarineAir reverse cycle air conditioner and heater. The central hinged table may be secured against the bulkhead-mounted bottle and glass rack or easily lowered for a large dining area. Owing to the generous tankage centrally located beneath the cabin sole, there is an amazing amount of storage behind and under the salon seating. The entire salon is attractive and practical, featuring beautiful cabinetry and joiner-work, new designer fabric over 5” extra-comfort cushions (2016), opening ports, deck vents and hatches, all equipped with insect screens.

The nav table shares aft end of the port settee as a navigator’s seat, with drawers/lockers for charts, etc. The master electrical panel is housed in a built-in cabinet over the nav table with additional panel space provided to port for the single sideband radio, radar, GPS and autopilot displays.

The 350’s galley at the aft end of the salon to starboard abounds with usable space and convenience features. The well-lighted Frigoboat reefer has a freezer box, interior shelves, direct overboard electric drain pump, interior switched light, and ample space for food and ice. Numerous drawers, Formica lined cabinets and lockers, and built-in dish and cutlery storage provide ample room for stores and utensils. A Keurig coffee maker sits atop to the side the reefer. A fold-up counter extension and slide out trash receptacle, deep polished stainless steel sinks, a safety type LPG range with guard rail and harness attachments complete the detailed, thoughtful, layout.

As in the forward berth, a generous Pullman style berth is featured in this fully enclosed aft cabin, fitted with a custom-fit commercial mattress. A cedar-lined hanging locker, bureau cabinet, full length mirror, long shelf, storage bins, well placed lighting, two opening ports and overhead hatch make this area inviting and comfortable.

DECK

Amical's graceful sheerline carries aft from the bowsprit tip, where large dual anchor rollers and deck pipes allow rapid deployment and retrieval of an anchor employing the maxwell 1500 electric windlass. Thoughtful details such as replaceable chafe strips for wear from shackles and chain rodes, oversized deck pipes to to clear thimbles, and interior rode attachments reflect island packet's attention to the needs of the cruising sailor.

The well laid out deck offers wide side walkways, raised bulwarks forward, full length continuous cabin top handrails, double lifelines with welded rails fore and aft, and two-tone premium diamond pattern slip-resistant surfaces, all designed to enhance security while moving about deck, the cockpit is spacious with full length seats accommodating a large crew or offering a place to stretch out. there is excellent visibility from the helmsman's seat with its padded backrest. the console mounted steering features island packet's premium rack and pinion geared design. a single lever engine control, a wheel brake and navigation instruments are also on the console. the engine panel is equipped with full analogue gauges for all readouts. additional

features include two large seat lockers, a hand-held cold shower, two stern rail seats, and a pedestal mounted folding table.

Safety concerns are met with a pin lock for securing companionway dropboards, padeyes for safety harness attachment, and a raised companionway bridgedeck.

The integrally molded transom platform (the "sugar scoop" stern) and folding swim ladder afford easy boarding from the water, a dinghy or a dock.
