04Description

The Tartan 372 is the evolution of the earlier Tartan 37 and improved that classic yacht in every way.  And, CHASING SUNSETS is the best 372 I have seen a couple of decades (HONEST!!!)  If you are looking for a boat that can do nearly everything, this is it: a beamier hull provides a very comfortable interior without sacrificing performance.  A great high aspect sloop will get you to your favorite weekend gunkhole or around the cans.  The owners have loved her and maintained her beyond expectations.  I do not believe there is anything to be done except to cast off your lines and enjoy!!!  (I haven't written a description like this forever!!!)

DID I TELL YOU THAT SHE HAS AIR & A COMPOSTING HEAD?

CHASING SUNSETS IS FULLY COMMISSIONED & IN THE WATER & READY TO GO!!!

Accommodations and Walkthru

Beginning at the Bow, is a large comfortable Vee Berth with a large opening hatch over berth and 2 smaller hatches at cabin entry. There is a sink and cabinet to starboard and a large locker to port for storage plus 6 great drawers under berh. Reading lights and a fan keep the comfort level high.

The Saloon has a centerline table with facing settees.  The Starboard Settee makes into a good-sized double and the port side is long enough for an adult to nap. A large opening Hatch provides good ventilation and the reading and ceiling lights and a fan  keep everything light and airy.

The portside Nav Station features a large desk with great storage.  The Ship's Electric Panel, Radar, VHF, Multi Stereo GPS Repeaters are all mounted within easy reach.

The L-shaped Galley is across on startboard with efficient counter access trash, double sink, 3-Burner Stove/Oven and good storage with Cabinets on hull side and under counter.

The Head is aft of Nav on port featuring a Compost Head and plenty of elbow room for a good shower.  There is both an opening port and hatch.  A mirrored med cabinet and a second cabinet above counter with a trash bin built-in and storage under.

The Centerline Companionway has 4 steps up to the cockpit over easily accessed plumbing and tankage.

Quarterberth entry is to port behind Galley.  It is big enough for an adult couple

The Cockpit is large enough for sailing, entertaining and relaxing.  A well designed Dodger and Bimini protect the crew from Mother Nature.  There are Bose speakers, fish holders, jack line attachments, plus dinghy davits and an OB motor holder.
