04Description
The Hatteras 43 is a traditional flush deck motor yacht whose quality construction, spacious accommodations, and comfortable ride made her one of the most popular motor yachts ever produced. Like most Hatteras designs of her era, the 43 was built on a solid fiberglass, single-chine hull with a long keel and nearly flat aftersections. Originally, the standard two-stateroom interior came with twin berths aft and the galley down—a layout that resulted in a very spacious salon.Topside, the lower helm is located on the afterdeck (as it is on all flush-deck yachts) where the driver can easily socialize with guests. Additional features include wide side decks, a well-arranged engine room, molded bow seating, and a swim platform. This Hatteras 43 is a loop veteran and owners are ready for their next adventure.
The 1973 Hatteras 43 Double Cabin is a classic, flush-deck motor yacht highly regarded for its robust solid fiberglass hull construction, spacious layout, and excellent liveaboard privacy.

Does your family have fun doing things together? Then take them aboard a Hatteras 43 Double Cabin.
They'll have the time of their lives.
Our 43 DC is designed and built to take a lot of living. Without a lot of maintenance.
The salon is, like a family room, a space to which a family just naturally gravitates. It's large, bright, casual. There's plenty of storage in the cabin sides, overhead AC/DC lighting, and dinette table. And large, screened windows to let in great gobs of sea air.
Carpeting and drapes in the salon are standard and available in a wide variety of colours, patterns and textures.
Just forward of the salon is a complete galley - electric range and oven with rotisseries, family-sized refrigerator/freezer, stainless steel sink, pressure hot and cold water system, and a range hood with exhaust fan.
It's also a roomy galley - with good storage space - and open to the salon.
Adding to the hominess of these two areas - and the rest of the interior - is wood paneling. Rich, rare wood; hand-fitted and hand-finished with care and craftsmanship that's even more rare.
Our 43 has other things close family will like. Like privacy.
The main stateroom is aft of the salon. It has twin berths: bulkhead and full-length hanging lockers; built in 6-drawer dresser; screened portlights to port, starboard and aft.
