The Discovery Yachts Group will produce a range of modern classic yachts in the traditional style of the 1920s and ’30s yet with all the modern design ideas and advantages of up-to-date production techniques. With larger, lighter and more voluminous interiors due to their Ron Holland designed hulls, yet with modern classic styling and traditionally finished joinery, Britannia will offer a yacht with the beauty of a classic but liveable space of our modern distance-cruising yachts.
The Britannia 74 will debut this exciting new brand. Her simple clean lines and traditional grandeur make her stand out in a class of her own.
Below decks the Britannia’s elegant interior is reminiscent of many 1920s and ‘30s classics, and the quality of finish by our skilled joiners and cabinetmakers is second to none. The saloon will have the air of sophistication of a Mayfair gentlemen’s club. The elegant and spacious owner’s state room aft with luxury en-suite takes full advantage of the Ron Holland hull shape delivering head room and liveable space like no other yacht with such classical lines. The forward stateroom has the same wonderfully sophisticated space, once again with separate shower for guests lucky enough to be staying on board.
The Britannia Syndicated Ownership Program enables owners to experience some of the world’s most idyllic destinations. Joint ownership or syndicated ownership is a fantastic way of reducing the cost of owning a luxury cruising yacht. All of the owners in each scheme have equal ownership of the yacht and all matters have to be agreed between all members. With a detailed plan from the outset, all you need to do is choose the weeks you desire and away you go.
