Susan Meredith

Susan grew up cruising and racing boats of all sizes, from the Vanguard Laser and 420s up to racing a Whitbread Maxi. Along the way, Susan was a four-year varsity sailor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and went on to collect a bit of silver as both skipper and crew in regional, national and international championship events in handicap, one-design and match race classes. She also taught junior sailing, managed the Maryland Governors Cup Yacht Race and continues to serve on race committees. In addition to her competitive experience, Susan has logged thousands of miles delivering blue water boats along the East Coast. Susan remains very active in the Annapolis sailing and racing community, and is a generational member of the Annapolis Yacht Club.

Susan funded all of her experiences through her successful business development career in high tech working for Fortune 50 corporations, privately owned businesses and real estate. A trained negotiator, experienced in contracts and having a keen sense of buyer behavior and acute listening skills, yacht brokerage is a natural merging of Susan’s skills and passion.
